Upcoming Dates:
Most Saturdays & Sundays at 11am.
Reservations are required.
Guided Nature Trail Walk with the Goat Herd ($0-$15).
We will gather at the pond seating area, to check in.
Once everyone has arrived, we will close the main gate and let the goats out of their enclosure. Plan to stay until the goats are returned to their enclosure.
Farm owner, Naturalist and Biologist Tina Jenkins will be your guide. She will share her knowledge of the farm, animals, wildlife and vegetation as we leisurely stroll through the mile of nature trails.
The nature trail encircles the 2 ponds, and past the donkey’s enclosure to a giant grandmother oak tree and into the pine forest. We will relax in the pine forest hammocks while the goats browse around us.
What to bring: Water (or beverage of your choice), bug repellant. Wear comfortable clothes & shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
What NOT to bring: Please do not carry snacks or food of any kind, the goats can smell it and they will try to take it. No wicker hats or bags, or natural wood or seed jewelry, they think it’s delicious. No pets.
Warning: The ground is uneven, and goats may bump into you or jump on you while walking. Participants should be steady on their feet.
