Field trips to Jaybird Hammock Farm provide a unique and engaging experience, featuring options for either goat yoga or a nature walk with the goat herd—or a combination of both! Led by farm owner, naturalist, and biologist Tina Jenkins, students will gain valuable insights into the farm animals, nature, and wildlife, all while integrating STEM concepts.

Goat yoga not only promotes mindfulness and physical activity but also fosters joy through playful interactions with the friendly goats. Students can unwind, learn stress management techniques, and connect with their peers in a fun and relaxed environment. Meanwhile, a nature walk offers opportunities to explore ecosystems, observe wildlife, and understand the science behind natural habitats.

After the activities, students can enjoy a picnic at the farm, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.  With a capacity of 10 to 30 guests, Jaybird Hammock Farm is perfect for creating a close-knit atmosphere where students can bond and learn together. Whether they’re practicing yoga with goats or wandering the trails, students will leave with lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for nature and animals.
