Yes. All events require reservations. See our "Events" page to reserve your farm experience. 

Pets are not permitted on the farm premises to minimize stress on our animals and prevent disease transmission. Service animals are welcome with proper verification and must be under control at all times.  *Exception: Local celebrity, Crystal the racoon is a welcome guest and wildlife ambassador. 

To protect farm animals and wildlife, the use of balloons, glitter, confetti is prohibited on the farm premises. Visitors are required to dispose of all trash properly in designated receptacles to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Yes, we schedule private events for parties of 10 or more. Contact the farm to schedule your private event.  

Yes, field trips are available to book on Wednesdays for 10 to 30 guests. See the "Field Trip" page for more information. Cost start at $15 per person.

No. At this time all events are weather dependent. We do not have a shelter for guests in the event of rain. 

Cancellation Policy:

• 72+hrs notice full refund or transfer to a future event.
• Our policy requires a minimum of 72 hours' notice for cancellations. This allows us the opportunity to potentially offer the ticket to another guest, and prevents revenue loss for the farm.  

Inclement weather policy: In the event of inclement weather (to be determined and called by the host), the event will be postponed to an announced date, or a refund will be issued. Reservations will automatically transfer to the new date, if rescheduled. If you are unable to attend the new date, notify the host immediately by email for a full refund, jaybirdhammockfarm@gmail.com. The event will proceed as scheduled if the weather is 45degrees Fahrenheit or higher. We will assess the possibility of rain on the day of the event, taking into consideration the unpredictable shifts in weather for Florida.

If you purchased a farm experience, guests are welcome to explore the farm after their scheduled experience.  Guests may bring a bag lunch and picnic casually on the farm. Please dispose of trash responsibly.
